With over a decade in banking before joining Interswitch Group, where he has now spent more than 10 years, Paul brings deep expertise in digital payments, ecosystem expansion, and market strategy. He leads Verve’s growth across issuance and acceptance, advancing its footprint across the continent and securing partnerships with global merchants like Google and Netflix. He also engages with the Central Bank of Nigeria on policies that promote financial inclusion and interoperability. Outside of work, Paul is an avid fitness enthusiast.

Now, as Head of Market Development at the new headquarters in Singapore, Simi will be fundamental in supporting APAC merchants and in continuing the expansion strategy globally. Passionate in learning new languages, travel and with background in Computer Engineering from UTFPR and one year of masters sandwich in the same field from Brunel University of London.

With more than a decade of experience in e-commerce and digital payments, he leads EBANX’s growth strategy across South Latin America. His work focuses on regional expansion, partnerships, and representing the company within the fintech ecosystem.
